The exhibition representing porcelain vases and bottles of the Imperial Qing is the first of its kind and offers great opportunities for academic study and appreciation by the scholars, collectors and laymen. All exhibits are Imperial Qing porcelain vases, drawn from the renowned Huaihaitang collection of Mr Anthony K. W. Cheung. This catalogue consists of three scholarly essays: "The Imperial Ware of the Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong Reigns written by William Chak", "Four Studies on Yongzheng and Qianlong Imperial Ware by Peter Y.K. Lam", "Qing Imperial Vase Forms and Handles: A Glimpse from the Huaihaitang Collection by Lai Suk Yee". Other important references are "a full category of six-character basemarks from late Kangxi to early Jiaqing reigns" and "Common Imperial Vase Forms of the Kanxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong reigns (line drawings of the different vase and bottle forms)".
